Why Canine Training?
Humans and canines have lived together for over 100,000 years. We are bonded with dogs, and they to us, like no other animal. TASK seeks to enhance this human-canine bond through canine (and human) training. Well trained dogs are less likely to end up as a frustration to their owners, aggressive, or at the pound where they are often euthanized. Fifteen minutes of training a day can help canines become well mannered member of the family who is a delight to their owners and a companion for life. |

What is the "AKC Canine Good Citizen" Award?
The American Kennel Club (AKC) designates the "Canine Good Citizen" award to dogs (and their handlers) who are well trained and good mannered dogs. These dogs are a delight to their owners! As an AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluation facility, we can both train and evaluate your dog. The CGC is the first step towards Therapy Dog and Service Dog registration. CGC certification is an honor and shows that you have worked hard with your well mannered canine best friend. We also belong to the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. |
